I enjoyed this film on NYE – I am not a “minimalist” but the concepts resonate with me. We are culturally conditioned to acquire more and more “stuff” and to define ourselves by what we have, not what we do. IMHO, it is a question of balance. Know thyself – when you are going into “retail therapy”, just walk away and think about your motivations. There may be another path to the good feelings that you seek!
